In 1952, it took ten Toyota employees a month to produce a truck. By 1961, it took only 1 employee. By the mid-80's, each employee was making five cars per month. That's a 50-fold increase in productivity in a little over 30 years.

How did Toyota work its miracle? Through continuous improvement of its production system. They learned all they could from American quality pioneers, in the 1950's and 60's, like Dr's Deming and Juran. Then they internalized it - trained everyone thoroughly to be a process improver- and then practiced what they preached.

You can do the same thing. We can help get you started.
