These are useful; people use these forms as needed as projects move along, and responses to the questions are saved for easy referral and reporting.

This is only the beginning. If you want to make your own form, switch to design mode, and quickly modify one of the standard forms, or make a new one from scratch. You can save your new form in a list of standard form templates, which makes it available for future use.
